About Rocky Mountain Veteran Evaluations
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado. I am also authorized to practice telepsychology under PSYPACT, which means that I can do telehealth psychology evaluations in 42 states (click here for a list of states where I can practice via telehealth).
I have conducted over 5,000 VA disability mental health exams for veterans. With this experience, I know how to ask the important questions and write reports in the language and format that VA needs to make service connection decisions. I’ve conducted evaluations focusing on PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, TBI impacts on memory and mental health, and a variety of other mental health challenges.
I have been working in the field of mental health since 2001 and worked for almost a decade at VA. I left federal employment in 2020 to pursue interests in trauma psychology and to start my own private practice, where I do veteran evaluations, consulting, and trainings for mental health providers.
I have conducted VA mental health evaluations for a wide variety of military affiliated people. This includes active duty service members who are:
Undergoing Medical Evaluation Boards (MEBs)
Retiring from the military
Exiting the military via ETS
Exiting via administrative discharge.
I have conducted evaluations in VA facilities, on DOD installations, in jails and prisons, in private practice, and via telehealth. Living in Colorado, most of my experience has been with Army and Air Force/Space Force service members and veterans, though I have worked with many veterans who have served in the Navy, the Marine Corps, and a few in the Coast Guard. My goal is to support every veteran I work with in being able to have their concerns accurately and thoroughly documented for VA mental health disability claims.
